چکیده

Abstract Study on the application of nanofibers in food active packaging has been a research hotspot recent years. In this work, solution blow spinning (SBS) was applied to rapidly fabricate polycaprolactone (PCL), polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP), and PCL/PVP nanofibrous films encapsulate chlorogenic acid (CGA). All showed uniform smooth nanofibers, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy X-ray diffraction proved success mixed PCL PVP. With increase PVP content, thermal stability improved. The (weight ratio 4:1) film possessed better mechanical properties than because stronger fiber–fiber interactions. addition endowed hydrophobic surfaces films, had water vapor barrier ability. (4:1) exhibited best long-term continuous release CGA during 72 h. no inhibition against Staphylococcus aureus Escherichia coli due low encapsulation efficiency, but good antimicrobial activity. above results suggested that developed by SBS possess promising prospects packaging.

Preparation of Fish Skin Gelatin-Based Nanofibers Incorporating Cinnamaldehyde by Solution Blow Spinning

Cinnamaldehyde, a natural preservative that can non-specifically deactivate foodborne pathogens, was successfully incorporated into fish skin gelatin (FSG) solutions and blow spun into uniform nanofibers. The effects of cinnamaldehyde ratios (5-30%, w/w FSG) on physicochemical properties of fiber-forming emulsions (FFEs) and their nanofibers were investigated. Higher ratios resulted in higher v...

Microchip-based 3D-Cell Culture Using Polymer Nanofibers Generated by Solution Blow Spinning.

Polymer nano/micro fibers have found many applications including 3D cell culture and the creation of wound dressings. The fibers can be produced by a variety of techniques that include electrospinning, the primary disadvantage of which include the requirement for a high voltage supply (which may cause issues such as polymer denaturation) and lack of portability. More recently, solution blow spi...

Solution Blow Spinning: A New Method to Produce Micro- and Nanofibers from Polymer Solutions

A solution blow spinning technique was developed using elements of both electrospinning and melt blowing technologies as an alternative method for making non-woven webs of microand nanofibers with diameters comparable with those made by the electrospinning process with the advantage of having a fiber production rate (measured by the polymer injection rate) several times higher. The diameters of...
